This year, we are setting our goal as 500 hats for Frederick County Schools, specifically Emmitsburg, Hillcrest, Lincoln, Waverly, and Sabillasville. We have three hat drive meetings, August 25, September 29, and October 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wegmans.
Even if you don't feel like making hats, you can simply sit and work on a project of your choice.
As of our August 25 meeting, we have 35 hats.
I am interested in joining your group. Currently, I can only crochet in straight lines, but I would LOVE to learn how to read patterns and would love to help you with your hat project. Are you meeting on December 29th?
