2nd Knitting Guild Meeting

We had an great night yesterday! We practiced our knit and purl stitches and worked on projects! This was only our second meeting, but we had a good turnout and even had a new person show up to the meeting.  We love meeting new people and every one is always welcomed to join us.  My grand-kids even made an appearance.

National Night Out is August 1 this year and the knitters agreed that we needed to participate again this year. Last year, the crochet group sat alone, but this year, we will represent knitting and crochet fiber arts!!! We had a great time last year, so I'm hoping for the same this year!!!

Our next meeting is Tuesday, May 30th at Wegman's on Rt. 26 from 6 -8 pm.  We will be learning Tunisian bobbles and lace.  We are also continuing with out Warm Up America block project!  Knit and crochet blocks are welcomed. As always, bring completed projects you want to show to the rest of the group - we love seeing them!!!

See ya all soon.

South Mountain Knitting Guild

South Mountain Knitting Guild became official on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 after a long hiatus. We had 5 people attend our first meeting, but would love to see more. If you want to learn to knit or are a Master Knitter, come join us on the third Tuesday of each month at Wegmans on Route 26 (Clemsons Corner) from 6pm to 8pm in the main dining room by the TV.  We are working on a great charity project (Warm Up America!) and are going to be learning basic stitches for some of our newer knitters. Come join the fun! There is no fee to show up, knit, and enjoy the evening.
